Landscapes

I usually start from drawings and photos that I’ve taken as a starting point for a landscape work however, that usually changes and the landscape starts to take on a life of its own through the adding and subtracting of imagery. Also the colour scheme will start to change and become either more vibrant or the contrast will change to create a mood in the work. The work goes through different stages and transforms a monochromatic scene into an expressive composition.
