These works go through a range of processes that sometimes involve a variety of different mark making and also the use of different collage materials. The palette starts off as being more subdued however, this can change with the introduction of a certain colour or added material that then can act as a domino effect where other sections need to be compensated. It’s an evolving process that can seem to have no end.
